Sherlyn Chopra (formerly known as Mona Chopra) is an Indian model, singer and actress. She became the first Indian model to pose nude on the cover of Playboy magazine. In November 2012 she will appear on the cover of Playboy magazine.
Chopra was born in Hyderabad. She has a brother, Amitabh Chopra, a computer engineer working in Auckland as well as a sister, Sharon Aamir, who works as a DJ.[citation needed] She attended Stanley Girls High School and Saint Ann's College for Women in Mehdipatnam. It was during college that she entered and won Miss Andhra, a local beauty pageant
Chopra's early acting career consisted of roles in minor Bollywood films. She appeared in movies such as Time Pass, Red Swastik and Game. She made her Telugu film debut in A film By Aravind. In November 2012 Chopra will appear on the cover Playboy, making her the first Indian woman to be on the cover of the men's magazine
