Vanya Mishra (born 27 February 1992) in Jalandhar was crowned the winner of Femina Miss India on March 30, 2012. She is currently doing her undergraduate programme in electrical engineering from PEC University of Technology. She had to compete with the 19 other models for the top honour, the Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2012 Title
Vanya represented India at the Miss World 2012 pageant in Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China on 18 August 2012. She won the Miss Social Networking and Miss Beauty with a Purpose title[2] and was able to make it to the top 7. In 'Dances of the World', Vanya performed a mujra to the song Dil Cheez Kya Hai.
