Beautiful Egyptian Basma Hassan





Basma Hassan (born December 7, 1976 in Cairo) is an Egyptian actress.

Basma's father is a journalist and her mother is a women's rights activist. Her maternal grandfather, Youssef Darwish, was a communist activist. Basma began her career acting at the university in the film "El Madyna (The City)" where the director Yousry Nasrallah chose her to participate in the film; however, before the movie she tried to be a radio presenter and had already taken an interview in the national radio channel. But before anything, Yousry Nasrallah selected her for the movie "El Madyna (city)

After completing her studies at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University Department of English began working as a broadcaster in the Nile channel in the period from 1998 to 2000 to be chosen by the filmmaker Sherif Arafa, where he had saw her in the film "El Madyna (city)" she found a connection from the Office of the Sherif Arafa and two weeks after meeting him she got a role in the film "El Nazr (caretaker)" with Alaa Wali Al-Din.[citation needed]

Basma has played a number of bold roles in movies such as ElNa'ama Wal Tawoos ("The Ostrich and the Peacock"), Laylat Soqut Baghdad ("The Night Baghdad Fell"), and Rasael ElBahr ("Sea Messages").

After the movie "EL Nama we El tawos (The Ostrich and the Peacock)" she returned to work as a broadcaster at Dream channel from 2001 to 2002 and then co-starred in the series "El Remal (sand)" on channel MBC. She then turned fully to the world of acting.

On 15 February 2012 Basma Hassan married the political activist Amr Hamzawy, who is a Member of Parliament for the Freedom Egypt Party.
